Summary
The article deals with societies as laboratories of embodiment. Spatio-temporal formations of movement patterns and world references are reconstructed using photographic self-portraits of rural youth and parkour as examples. The formal-aesthetic comparisons show that sociations enable playful spaces in which the positioning of a self-world relationship can be tested both as a persistent localization and as a flowing acceleration. In space and time signifying embodiment laboratories, an isomorphic habitus is produced in a sociation-specific way and displayed in media design practices.
